or should i say, let's get rid of green. Remember this..... well i hate to throw anything out because you never know what can be done with it right!!
So i removed the metal plate (i am going to see what i can do with it) and replaced it with a piece of vanilla cardstock. i coated the card stock with Tattered Leather glimmermist followed by a bit, okay a lot, of walnut gold.
i then enlarged and printed a stamp of the Artfully Said collection by Wendy Vecchi's on to a piece of watercolour paper and used rusty hinge and broken china to colour it in. The flower is made out of a piece of material that i had left over from curtains. i tore it, twisted and glued to a circle backer. The butterfly of course is from the Tim Holtz big dies collection, Fanciful Flight. For that i coloured the main wings with rusty hinge, placed a screen on them and sprayed with Patina glimmer mist. and for the body i used one of the Game Spinners Tim's collection. For the edge of the plaque i used Tim Holtz tissue tape!!!
i think that is it everyone. it was a pretty fast and easy project. So look around your house and see what you can alter instead of trash
HAPPY SCRAPPING!!
